We are humbled, yet excited about the launching of our online school: “Anointed Fire Empowerment Courses”. Join us in our quest to raise awareness about Domestic Violence, and just how damaging it is in society as a whole.
How can you become more actively involved? I believe that a great place to start is for each of us to assume responsibility for becoming more knowledgeable ourselves.
Simply enroll in one of our online courses. Enroll at https://anointed-fire-empowerment-courses.thinkific.com/
Additionally, if you are interested in earning a passive income, you can apply to sign on as an affiliate with Anointed Fire Empowerment Courses, and receive up to a 30% commission for each course enrollment that occurs through your own personal affiliate link. You would need only to share your link in either emails ( the link could be added to your signature block), and/or on your social media pages, along with a testimonial regarding the benefits of taking the courses!
Furthermore, there are opportunities for co-course creators; perhaps you have a course that you believe is in alignment with our mandate to “Ignite Hearts , Enlighten Minds , and Safeguard Destinies” . Your course idea may pertain to Domestic Violence, or it could address another challenge which we grapple with as a society: Human Trafficking, Bullying, Maintaining Hope During Seemingly Hopeless Times, for example.
The silence surrounding domestic violence is absolutely deafening. The statistics surrounding its frequency are staggering. It poses a tremendous public health and safety risk, especially in those settings presumed to be safe and supportive I.e., our churches, across denominations and our schools. It is called “The Silent Epidemic”. No denomination is exempt, therefore no denomination can point fingers at another denomination.
For the past several months, there has been a sharp increase in the exposure of an abuse of power that has run unbridled in our churches: sexual assault of both children and adults of both genders. Shockingly, deliberate decisions have been made systematically to cover up, excuse, make excuses for, victim shame, and to add insult to injury, misappropriate scripture to justify the cover ups. This is a horrible witness for the church of God, and there is no excuse that the Lord is accepting in this hour – hence the widespread exposure.
Shattering the Silence
Repentance
Widespread, worldwide repentance is needed from the pulpit to the door. Many ministry leaders are guilty of engaging in domestic violence, ranging from verbal abuse, emotional abuse, financial abuse, physical abuse, gaslighting, threats and intimidation against their own spouses and/or children. Some have, and continue to engage in inappropriate sexual relationships with members of their congregations – some of which are children. Often this abusive behavior is cloaked in the mystique of “ mentoring, spiritual “fathering” – or “mothering” when in fact it is “grooming” .
Yet, they stand in the pulpit or occupy the “stage” in their houses of worship preaching and admonishing ( and controlling) their congregations. The cries and prayers of their victims have reached the ears of the Lord. These abusers have violated the trust of those entrusted to their care, and in the process have repeatedly and deliberately dishonored the Lord. In many instances their behaviors have literally initiated what believers know as “generational curses”. A generational curse essentially is the transference of dysfunctional, harmful tendencies via the realm of the spirit.
If you are not a believer, another way of explaining this is that those who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, crimes of violence, grown up in an alcoholic or drug addicts care – or had no guidance tend to be sought out by predators. They also are more likely to engage in this damaging behaviors towards others. So then the cycle is repeated, over and over again. That likelihood, coupled with the almost complete silence of those in positions of power creates the perfect environment for ongoing abuse.
Many leaders are silent because frankly they are either guilty of the same behaviors – or they are more concerned about alienating the offender than pleasing God.
We are committed, at Lion of Judah Global Impact Ministries, Judah’s Roar-r and Anointed Fire Empowerment Enterprises as well as Anointed Fire Empowerment Courses to do all that is within our power to raise awareness regarding Domestic Violence, and other things that plague our nation and the world: Human Trafficking, Bullying, Sexual Assault, etc. Will you join us? Consider becoming an affiliate for our online courses. Consider enrolling in the courses yourself – and consider slowing down a bit, and being intentional about actually listening to maybe what isn’t being said the next time you ask a friend or loved one: “ How are you?”
Remember, there are opportunities available for collaboration and/or applying to become an affiliate with us. Together, we can make a difference! Also, be aware that teens and young people are also greatly challenged with domestic violence/ toxic relationships. No matter how close of a relationship you may have with them, they may hesitant to share candidly if they are being abused. Insure that the teens/young people in your life are aware that they can text: Loveis to 22522 to receive unbiased help and support.
