Grace and Peace, Beloved of God!
I’m coming to the end of my week long business trip here in Philadelphia. This trip has been very interesting on so many levels. This is – or was “home”. I experienced so much here. Quite naturally, many memories came flooding back during this week: some joyous, some not so much. I’ve learned so much , and I’m grateful for having a vibrant, intimate relationship with the Lord. I understand today, better than ever that there would be no “me” without Him. It is truly in Him that I live and move and have my being. I love His Word more than my necessary food. In the interest of transparency, I have not always been this keenly aware of His love for me. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been told that He loves me. I was raised in church. My “ChickaDee” (my mother) insured – insisted that my siblings and I be actively involved from a very early age. We were immersed in the very active youth department of White Rock Baptist Church, right here in Philadelphia at 53rd and Chestnut under the pastorate of Dr William J. Shaw.
Why am I sharing these thoughts with you? When I think back over all that I have experienced, and the seemingly countless times that the enemy has attempted to abort my purpose and the great pain that accompanied those attempts, I bless God for keeping me! I’m telling you that He kept me at times in spite of myself!
As I sit here, in my hometown contemplating the many twists and turns that I have experienced in this life, I marvel at the knowledge that there has never been a time in my life no matter how challenging or painful that He did not know exactly where I was – literally.
One of my favorite passages of scripture is Job 23:10,
” But He knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure gold.” ( NLT). The Amplified Bible declares it this way: “But he knows the way that I take[and he pays attention to it]. When he has tried me, I will come forth as [refined] gold, pure and luminous.”
Listen, that’s Powerful! Gold symbolizes Kingship, Kingdom Glory. A “Test” by definition, is “the means by which the presence, quality or genuiness of anything is determined’ a means of trial.” The purpose of a test is to assess or evaluate. In chemistry, yes, chemistry it is “the process of identifying or detecting the presence of a constituent of a substance, or of determining the nature of a substance, commonly by the addition of a reagent.” Well now what in creation is a “reagent”?! A reagent is a substance that because of the reaction it causes is used in analysis and synthesis. A reagent, for the sake of this discussion, is any situation or circumstance that strikes us at the core of our belief system and truly challenges our faith.
So, what are you saying Prophet? I’m saying that everything that the enemy has ever been allowed to launch against you and I, was allowed simply to establish that we are a constituent of Almighty God!! It’s in the test that our authenticity is established both in the earth and in the realm of the Spirit! It is on the other side of the test that we come out with our Kingship affirmed. Selah.
Armed with this information, no matter the intensity of the battle, “tapping out” of the test is not an option. The Lord, as Job so eloquently declared knows where we are, and where we are going. When He ascertains that the appropriate “reagent” has been introduced, and when He can find Himself IN us, we will come out as gold- pure and luminous (radiating or reflecting His light).
Come On, Judah!!
This Day We Fight!!

It has been simply incredibly generous with you to provide openly what exactly many individuals would’ve marketed for an ebook to end up making some cash for their end, primarily given that you could have tried it in the event you wanted.
Glory be to God
